WHEN WILL CANON PHILIPPINES RE-LAUNCH CPS?!?

Exciting news for pro photogs in Europe- Canon Professional Service(CPS) has been relaunched. Read below for the press release from Canon Europe.

On a similar note, I talked with a Canon Philippines rep about CPS in the Philippines a few weeks ago. It seems they too are hard at work to revive the CPS here as well. That is excellent news as pro Canon users are left without anything to hang on to when their gear needs maintenance or repair. I am sure many of you out there don’t want to resort to Quiapo. More on CPS at a later post…

Press Release:
New Canon Professional Services scheme offers enhanced support to professional customers

overview_big Canon.comLondon, UK, 7th April 2010 – Canon today announces the launch of its new, enhanced after-sales support system for professional photographers and videographers, the Canon Professional Services (CPS) programme. The CPS system offers professional users of Canon products exclusive, free access to a range of benefits, from CPS support teams at many international and local events, to a priority repair service and direct support from Canon Professional Representatives in selected European countries *.

Redesigned following extensive consultation with the CPS community, the new CPS will offer more reliable support and information to qualifying professional photographers and videographers across Europe. The re-launched CPS introduces multiple levels of membership, allowing a greater number of professional photographers to qualify for the benefits of CPS support.

Kieran Magee, Director of Professional Products Marketing, Canon Europe commented, “We are committed to offering the best possible after-sales service and support and, with this in mind, we have taken a careful look at Canon Professional Services and redesigned it to offer more tailored support to our customers. We are sure that the CPS community will appreciate the enhanced accessibility and assistance offered by the improved CPS membership structure and we look forward to offering this level of service to a wider range of professional Canon customers.”

*European countries that currently offer the CPS program are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and United Kingdom.
