		<description><![CDATA[Hi there! Yes, big difference in focus points. But if you don&#039;t shoot professionally then it does not really matter. Next is the size and build. 7D is heavier and have a metal body vs the more plastic and a tad smaller and lighter body of the 60D. The 7D has the pro style layout of function buttons (the little joystick above the wheel is important to me for selecting focus points) and the 60D has a more simplified layout meaning, some functions need to be accessed through the menu system.

Both cameras are good enough for anything except shooting in typhoon conditions :-) both are also due for replacement and are much cheaper than the original SRP. IMHO, get the 7D. It will still be a good camera 2-3 years from now. 

Something else to think about- if you shoot jpeg and post to social media often the 60D is just perfect. But if you need to print large photos and want to go into selling these prints then 7D it is.
